BRIANNA Valentin
Drawing on a profound understanding of the sacrifices made by military families, as both a proud member of one and the spouse of a veteran, Brianna brings a unique perspective to her work. With over 15 years immersed in the education sector, she merges her deep expertise in Learning and Development from public and private sectors. As a seasoned consultant, Brianna collaborates closely with firearms and tactical instructors, enhancing the effectiveness of their training programs and courses by utilizing best practices in adult learning. Among the impactful programs she's contributed to are Room Entry Training, Advanced Tactical Skills, & Psychology: Mindset of a Protector.
Brianna's journey in education began as a founding middle school English teacher in Denver, Colorado. She then became a school leader, helping lead the district's first middle school to the state's 3rd highest for student growth in reading and writing.
Transitioning to San Antonio, TX, Brianna championed 9 turnaround schools—5 elementary, 4 secondary—coaching and developing principals and their leadership teams. With the support of Brianna and her team, 100% of schools met all state accountability measures, exceeded the district's student achievement goals, and the lowest performing 'F' school received a 'B' rating.
She also orchestrated teacher and leader onboarding and teacher preparation programs for TX and CO charter networks, hosting 400+ educators during Summer Institutes and facilitating 60+ hours of professional development workshops as a Regional Director of Instruction.
In addition, Brianna has also served as an education consultant for a national non-profit, helping school districts and educators across the country solve complex challenges and achieve their goals for students. She holds a Bachelors in English from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a Masters in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) from the University of Texas, San Antonio.
